Kooperationsstelle Hamburg IFE GmbH

The primary focus areas of Kooperationsstelle Hamburg IFE are
almost exclusively topics from the field of labour and the workplace. The institute specialises in matters involving labour market, OSH, protection of the environment, work organisation and organisational development. The main competence is the support of actors and stakeholders and the evaluation of programmes, policies and strategies.

Kooperationsstelle Hamburg IFE has worked together for more than 20 years with notable national and international project partners from universities, companies and consulting firms on many topics concerning occupational issues. These partners include numerous Directorates-General and Agencies of the EU, the German Institute for Standardisation (DIN), BAuA, employers’ liability insurance associations and their umbrella organisations as well as German and foreign universities.



INCDPM “Alexandru Darabont”

INCDPM “Alexandru Darabont” has over 60 years’ experience in the field of occupational safety and health.

The institute supports organisations in identifying, evaluating and controlling occupational hazards. Its services include exposure monitoring, risk evaluation, certification of technical equipment and personal protective equipment, design of technical measures for improvement of work conditions, elaboration of guidance documents, training, and consultancy in management systems.

INCDPM provides assistance and advice to labour authorities and social partners in legislative, political and practical matters related to health and safety.

Since 1996 INCDPM has acted as service point of the International Centre for OSH Information of ILO, from 1999 has acted as Focal Point of the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work, and since 2007 it is a member of the European Platform for Safety and Health at Work-RTPIS.

The Chemical and Biological Risk Laboratory was established in 1996, before that being part of the Department for Engineering Controls. Its activities include occupational exposure monitoring, occupational and environmental risk assessment, environmental impact studies, designing technical solutions, good practice guides and tools to reduce exposure to chemicals at work and in the environment and to improve working conditions.
